1920's Great Gatsby Dessert and Candy Table (Pink, Gold and White)

I was absolutely honoured to style the gorgeous dessert & candy table for Chanel and Nathan's engagement. The lovely couple had their engagement at the Gardens on Forest. Off course the best theme to celebrate in this gorgeous venue was Great Gatsby.

When I saw the venue I knew straight away that the colours which would suit the decor were gold, pink and white. Chanel is also a true sweetheart. So soft and delicate. So we obviously chose to go with the these elements for her dessert and candy buffet.

The cake design was based on the cake which Blissfully Sweet had initially designed for a photoshoot which had taken place at the amazing venue.

The sweet treats included gorgeous pink bloom vanilla cupcakes, feathered flower vanilla cookie stacks, gold and pink macarons and gold dusted cake pops. All the beautiful sweets complemented the cake design and the gorgeous venue. They were displayed on a gorgeous  antique dresser.

The candy buffet consisted of an array of gold, white and pink candy which included, gold sixlets (which sat below some beautiful blooms), sugar coated almonds, kool mints, butter mints, marshmallows, strawberry bon bons and meringues. The jars were embellished with some pearls and tassels. This was also displayed on a gorgeous antique dresser.

Overall, the setting was like a scene out of the Great Gatsby era. So elegant, delicate and classy.

Burdundy, Lilac and Teal Dessert Table

My client Marie approached me and was after a burgundy, lilac and teal dessert table for her kitchen tea.

Marie wanted to incorporate a variety of desserts. She chose:

Mascarpone Tarts
Chocolate Gananche Tarts
Strawberry Balsamic Glaze Pannacotta
Upside Down Pavlovas
Cheesecakes
Macarons
Chocolate Mud Cake Pops

We also added a variety of candy to the selection of sweets.

Overall, the table was very elegant and warm with the gorgeous colours she chose.
