A Morrocan Inspired Dessert Table

It was so exciting today to wake up to another feature on Amy Atlas Events.

This time it was my Confetti Fair dessert table. My inspiration for the display was Morrocan.

I chose a concept which was slightly different to usual with the bold colours of pink, turquoise & gold.

The main cake comprised some mosiac tiles and a gorgeous pink bloom. The second cake incorporated some darker colours from the main cake and a gorgeous gold bloom. The cupcakes, cookies and petit cake pops complemented the main cake in design.

Petit macarons were chosen as they are more delicate and a perfect bite size for the visitors at the fair.

The favors consisted of personalised chocolates and jelly beans which were beautifully displayed in some gorgeous blue jars.

Drinks were served in some gold jars with beautifully handcrafted straws.

A gorgeous hand made canopy hung over the dessert table which gave the dessert table a complete Moroccan feel.

At the front of the canopy I hung a gorgeous glitter gold hand made garland.

A mimic of the bridal table setup was placed to the side of the dessert table. This was simple in design but was also used to implement many elements from the dessert table.

Australia's Sweetest Morning Tea - A Sunburnt Country

Welcome to Australia – The land of the sunburnt country.

This is my contribution to the amazing E-vent which took place on the 23rd of May 2013. This E-vent was hosted by for amazing ladies - The Cupcake Lady, Blissfully Sweet, Pretty and Print and {Darling Details}.

This is my take on an outback wedding with an outback dessert table and beer garden.

The location set the mood for this photoshoot. The backdrop was the sandstone gorge.

Textural elements of rock and sand, matched with wood and bark complement this rugged location.

The colour palette of yellow, orange and brown best represented the Australian outback.

“Tea” was replaced with what’s typically Australian, “A Beer Garden”.

Billy button cake pops, cookies and cupcakes, teamed with a macaron cake in hues of the sunburnt colour palette and cakes that used sandstone textures really tell the story of this outback wedding.

I hope you get transported to an amazing outback wedding  where you can picture the presence of an Australian bride and groom.
